General comments: All of the Coleophora species in our area are under-recorded; naming most requires either finding the larvae or dissecting the genitalia of the adults (or both!). For this reason, notes made here are deliberately short, but will be updated on a species by species basis as information surfaces.
Local and scarce. On Petty Whin. The foodplant is rare in the two counties. Recorded for Middlesex by Stainton in his Manual.
